Memento

Today marked the end of a 12 week group I was attending. We celebrated with a pot luck and games and at the end, we gave each other note cards. Similar to the Smile Project, we wrote each other something inspirational and encouraging, and after reading mine, I was truly moved. What a great group experience and a smile I won't ever forget.

Smiles In The City

Today was a lovely day as there were smiles abound just about everywhere we looked. In a city as beautiful & diverse as Toronto, it's easy to find the things that ignite your spirit. As Queen West becomes more commercialized, Kensington Market is still the place to hear live music & find one of a kind items. I won't soon forget this day, the colours will remain fresh in my mind. Toronto I missed you.

Today I went to a local cafe with a special friend and she told me about this great idea called the smile project.
